U13 Hurlers Victory in Co final

Well done to Kinnitty/Lusmagh on their victory in the U13 Final on Sunday 4th Oct 2020

Well done to Kinnitty/Lusmagh U13’s on their victory in the U13B final on a wet and windy morning in Ballinamere last Sunday. The opposition was Clara who gave a great account of themselves but Kinnitty/Lusmagh proved too strong on the day. The fullback line of Ben Ryan, Emmet O’Brien and Gerry Ryan were always on hand to protect their goalkeeper James O’Brien while the half back line of Donna Joyce, Ray Ryan and Paddy Moran cleared all that came their way. They were ably helped by the midfielders of Fionn Joyce and Tadhg Sheehan. In the half forward line Colm Sheehan Michael Dooley and Irla Sheehan kept a supply of balls into the full forward line of  Leon Lowry, Noel Standish and Tiernan Fay. At the presentation the Captain Emmet O’Brien commiserated with Clara on their loss. He thanked the Kinnitty/Lusmagh management team of John Dooley, Mike Sheehan, Kenneth Moran and Seamus O’Brien along with COVID-19 officer Mairead Longworth for their work throughout the year. He also thanked Ballinamere GAA for hosting the event.
